The Newbie Blueprint

The purpose of this hub is to highlight the remarkable achievements that are possible if you apply yourself in a determined and organized fashion. It will introduce you to a young man who lives in Mexico by the name of Daniel Molano, who some of you may know as Narthil on WarriorForum.com.

It is a common experience for anyone who works in an Internet-related business, to hear people complain about how hard it is to make money online. That only people with money, friends, influence, etc. stand a chance. Well hopefully Daniel's story will put that misapprehension to rest and serve as an inspiring example of what is possible if you are really prepared to work at it.

For Daniel's story to make sense it is first necessary to quickly explain the concept of affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is where you promote the product or service of a third-party in return for a commission payment. Popular affiliate marketplaces include services like ClickBank.com, CommissionJunction.com or ShareASale.com, companies may also have in-house affiliate schemes such as eBay.com.

Products may be categorized as one of two types: physical or digital. A physical product is something that can be touched like a book, coffee machine or car. A digital product is something that is available as an electronic download like a software program or eBook.

Rather confusingly, what are essentially digital products are also sometimes sold in a physical form, for example an ebook or piece of software being sold on a CD or DVD. In this case they would fall under the heading of physical product.

Background

Like many people before him, Daniel Molano had decided to have a try at making money online. Also like many others, the pursuit of this quest had led him to the WarriorForum.com.

The Warrior Forum (WF)

This forum is the largest and best known Internet Marketing forum on the Web. Its members are referred to as Warriors and span all range of marketing abilities from total beginner all the way up to seasoned veterans turning over very large sums in their businesses. Also on the forum is a dedicated area where members can offer special deals (free or paid) for their fellow Warriors - the Warrior Special Offers Forum. These deals are known as WSOs for short.

Back to Daniel

After discovering the WF, Daniel then proceeded to spend the next couple of weeks lurking and absorbing the vast array of available content there. Content that is present in overwhelming amounts and that is frequently contradictory. This is where many people get bogged down in analysis paralysis and never make it as far as actually taking any action.

Daniel decided to start a blog and submit some articles to well-known websites. When this did not achieve the desired results, he posted on the Warrior Forum about: "why am I not making any money whatsoever?" This received a very forthright response from one of the experienced Warrior, essentially pointing out that Daniel's level of effort at that stage was so close to zero that it made no difference.

After first being angry at the reply, upon thinking about it Daniel came to realize it was good advice and it spurred him to action. He decided he was going to take some serious action with a deliberate plan.

The Plan

He drew up a plan of what the next 31 days were going to look like. He set himself specific goals and made a promise to himself to meet them. He made sure he was in the correct place mentally, he set the ground rules for success and then he applied directed hard work.

And guess what? It worked - to the tune of $3,000 in commissions for that month's efforts. What were the advertising costs to achieve that you ask? Zero, zip, nada, this result was all achieved using free methods available to everyone.

The WSO

Knowing how hard it had been for him and that there had to be hundreds, if not thousands, of people in similar circumstances, Daniel decided to turn his plan into a report for others to use and the newbie blueprint was born. Once he had the first draft of this ebook available, Daniel ran a WSO. It was a big hit making 500 sales, with only 1 refund.
